Summary

MotionCode does not collect, store, share, sell, or track any personal data. All editing, rendering, and exports happen on your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

  • No account or profile data

  • No contact information (email, phone, name)

  • No usage analytics or behavioral tracking

  • No advertising identifiers

  • No location data

  • No files or project contents (beyond what you choose to save on your device or iCloud)

On-Device Processing

  • All features—vector editing, timeline previews, and SwiftUI export—run locally on your Mac. Your projects remain on your device (or in iCloud if you choose to save them there).

Purchases (StoreKit)

  • MotionCode offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock Pro features. Transactions are processed by Apple via StoreKitand the App Store.

  • We do not receive your payment details or any personally identifiable information from Apple.

  • Apple may provide us with non-identifying information needed to confirm your purchase status (e.g., an entitlement).

Files & iCloud

  • If you save or export files to your device or iCloud Drive, those files are under your control. We do not access, transmit, or store them on our servers (we don’t operate any).

Diagnostics & Crash Reports

  • By default, we do not collect diagnostics. If you opt in to Share with App Developers in Apple system settings, Apple may provide anonymous, aggregated crash information. We do not attempt to identify users from such data.

Third-Party Services

  • MotionCode does not integrate third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or tracking. The only third-party services involved are Apple’s platform services (App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, and system frameworks).

Files & iCloud

  • If you save or export files to your device or iCloud Drive, those files are under your control. We do not access, transmit, or store them on our servers (we don’t operate any).

Children’s Privacy

MotionCode does not target children and does not collect personal information from any users.

Data Retention

Because we do not collect personal data, we do not retain any. Files you create are stored only where you save them.
